Customizable setup of advanced P-SUBmerged™ with Cronus Tower
For applications involving mammalian cell retention for expressing mAbs low RPM and preferably no bursting aeration bubbles is mandatory. The cell lines are fragile and in a perfusion setup benefit from.
• No HFF fouling – freedom to select broth velocities flushing out debris from inside the lumen
• No dead volumes – skip all the hoses and plastic connectors, SUBmerged and integrate the SepraPor HFF 100 % with Thalia diaphragm pump
• No local cell death - inverted Thalia pump above the HFF and SUB cannot accumulate cells
• Reduced shear force – remove all hoses and fittings and SUBmerge the HFF into the media inside the SUB
We introduce the SUBmerged - the HFF inlet are arranged SUBmerged in the broth inside the SUB and in the opposite end directly coupled to the diaphragm pump.
The illustration above is the required units for the Cronus tower. Perfusion-Single-Use-Bioreactor available from sister company PerfuseCell™. The PC shown is running Linux-8 with Lucullus on top and thus not Windows.
Cronus Tower selectively assembled of units:
- Carnus MFC – 4 or 8 channel Mass-Flow-Controller
- Sipylus – six channel ARC SUS unit
- Harmonia – dual thermal control electrical
- Andromeda – input unit – balancer, pressure, level
- Enyo – triple channel peristaltic pump unit
- Otrera - dual channel peristaltic pump unit
- Clotho – dual channel Thalia / Clio SUP laser guide drive unit
- Cilix B2 – dual channel servo motor drive unit
- Sarpedon - dual reservoir
- Alagonia-8 - pump as needed: one for vacuum - one for pressurized air
- Switch – LAN connections 16 channel
- PC - Lenovo ThinkCenter with Linix-8 – for Lucullus
- Memnon 230 VAC to 24 VDC multi channel Power Supply
Sister company PerfuseCell™:
- Supply the SUBmerged™ P-SUB
- Use expression Vessel Volume (VV) and Working Volume (WV) which is less than VV
